LGBTI people in Africa are defined within statistics, issues and struggles surrounding HIV/AIDS, (sac) religion, law, human rights, policies, stigma and discrimination that have become synonymous with the topic of homosexuality on the African continent.

Aiming to change this gloomy perception and show these people in a positive light, 'The Voices’-Project by AMSHer, will give a voice to LGBTI people across the continent, by showing their daily lives, experiences and interactions within their communities and places where they live, work and play.
