Temperatures are rising and this emotive question further thrown into disarray when the Interim independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC set the election to March 4th, 2012 instead of a December 2012 date.

Homosexuality is African

Anyone who says that homosexuality is un-African is racist.

We have an enormous body of historical and scientific evidence for the existence of homosexuality in every culture on every continent and stretching back in time as far as the human record goes. Homosexuality may not be normal, but it is natural.

The South African government should be lauded for standing up for the rights of African homosexuals at the United Nations against vociferous opposition from bigoted regimes across the continent.

Escalating cases of blackmail

Blackmail and extortion cases are on the rise, but the culprits seems the same. Different locations but the same stories. There have been more than ten reported cases of blackmail in the recent months. All share the same experience.

One fateful morning, Peter met with John the ‘blackmailer’ in Nairobi’s Moi Avenue on Monday 16th Jan 2012, where they had a cup of tea at a nearby restaurant. Peter thought he had found a perfect match and after a while they agreed to go to John friends house in Kahawa for a chit chat since it was so early in the day and the sun was scorching hot.

Bisexuality: An opaque invisibility

For the past four or so years , every 14th of February has seen me suffer the ill fate of most lovers who assume the ‘financier‘ role in a relationship; regret for having parted with hard earned cash or regret for not having the cash to part with. In 2012, however, I was spared this fate because of two things. Firstly I have undergone a serious deprogramming in terms of my values and attitudes towards relationship roles and responsibilities and secondly, I am in a relationship setup that wouldn’t exactly allow for a work night evening out (and am not complaining).
